At Heart Hope Publishing, our heartbeat is simple: nurturing hearts and minds with uplifting tales for life’s journeys.
Life isn’t always a straight line — it’s a roller coaster of experiences, events, and emotions. We believe stories have the power to walk with people through every season: the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Our mission is to create meaningful books and resources that touch the heart, equip the reader, and remind them they are never alone. Whether you’re a child learning to navigate big feelings, a woman seeking God’s presence in the middle of hardship, or a family looking for joy and connection, our stories
are written with you in mind.
What We Create
Heart Hope Publishing produces a range of resources designed to heal, inspire, and uplift:
• Gentle Helps for Children & Families – Our award-winning picture books subtly weave psychological tools into tender tales that help children process life’s challenges. Stories like I Can’t Believe They’re Gone, The Tale of the Little Black Cloud, and One Nest or Two offer comfort, resilience, and empathy in ways little hearts can understand.
• Faith & Encouragement for Women – Through the Be Held by Him series of devotionals and books, we bring together real-life testimony and God’s tender presence, equipping women to find courage, hope, and rest in the midst of difficulty.
• Joy, Laughter & Lighthearted Fun – We also celebrate the lighter side of life with joyful picture books like Angie Loves to Dance and Gracie the Groodle, along with family-friendly games like Pound of Hounds. Because sometimes, the best medicine is laughter and shared fun.

Our Story
Heart Hope Publishing was founded by Karen Brough, an award-winning author, teacher, and creative. Drawing from her teaching background, personal faith, and desire to gently educate and equip, Karen’s passion is to create stories that feel like “a hug in pages.” Today, our books and resources are found in homes, classrooms, churches, and writing communities around the world — sparking hope, healing, and joy wherever they go
